Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Arcade FightStick Expected To Be The First FightStick To Appear On Nintendo’s Wii U Console

Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. (“Mad Catz”) (NYSE MKT: MCZ) announced today its agreement with Namco Bandai Games Inc, to produce the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Arcade FightStick, a Tournament Edition fighting game controller for use with the upcoming Tekken Tag Tournament 2 videogame.

The agreement gives Mad Catz worldwide rights to ship products for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system from Sony and the forthcoming Wii U console from Nintendo.

Amazing Paper Mario: Sticker Star Box Art | Myvideogamenews

Here is the gorgeous box art for the highly anticipated Paper Mario Sticker Star for Nintendo 3DS. The game is being developed by Intelligent Systems (responsible for the other ones in the series) and looks marvelous. I cannot wait as I am a gigantic fan of this series and the 3DS version looks to be one of the best. I LOVED the video trailers that I have seen on my 3DS and remind me of a living, breathing diorama.

Paper Mario: Stick Star is set to release November 11th in North America. Count me in Nintendo.

Create Your own Digital Art With Your Nintendo 3DS And Colors DS ...

We all have a little bit of an artist in us. Or so we’re told anyway. And with the help of computers and software like Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro, creating digital drawings and our own personal works of art has become easier and easier, thanks to the built in tools and brushes included in digital pain programs. And now, with the help of a freeware app for the Nintendo 3DS and the r43ds called Colors DS, everyone can create (and share) their own digital drawings. You may have heard of Colors! for the iPhone, iPad and even the Android operating system. What you may not know though, is that it all started on an R4 DS card, and a Nintendo DS system. The developer first released Colors DS – now one of the most popular art apps for all major hand held platforms, as a freeware application for our favorite hand held game system.

Colors DS turned our Nintendo DS, and now Nintendo 3DS in to a digital canvas on which you could draw, create, and even share your work. Entire communities have popped up online where users upload their own works of digital art for the whole world to see. I’ve been a huge fan of Colors DS since it was first released, and I’m extremely happy to be able to report that I’ve tested it on my 3DS using my R4 card, and it works just as well (and even a bit faster) than it did on my DSi system. Don’t miss this cool freeware application. Just do a search for Colors DS in your favorite search engine and you’ll be take right to the developers web site, where you can download it for free, and start creating your next digital masterpiece.

Uh, no, wait wait… Don’t start to scream, jump of joy or have any other extreme signs of happiness! This was just a simple commercial for Nintendo 3DS!

While I was in the Netherlands for my foundation course, I heard one of my classmates talking about a commercial spot where she got a casting call for. They searched people for a tv commercial for ‘a well known gaming console brand’, and well, I didn’t had any experience but it seemed like fun!

I’ve auditioned and one week later, I was invited to go to the recording studios, among about 50 others. To be honest, I was bloody nervous!

The studio was H-U-G-E !!! It had a white interior without any corners and right in front of me, there was a camera.

You have to know that I’ve never stood in front of a camera before and that I didn’t know what I had to do.

When I was seated, first I had to play on the ‘new gaming console’, and next on I had to go to another room, where there was an interview, with questions like ‘what did you like about the nintendo 3ds?’, ‘What would you say to your friends about the Nintendo 3DS?’, …

Next on, I had to sign a contract and I was out of the giiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiaaaaaaaant studio!

After waiting this long, wondering what the commercial would be about, it was done in 15 – 20 minutes?!

Although this was only a commercial – I really want to do real acting work – I think I’ve learned a lot from this !

First of all, I need to relax more and as a second I need to be more inventive while standing in front of a camera (however, this could also be an effect from the tensing up.)

Wow, I’m still talking… You’re probably very curious about how I hightened Nintendo’s sales to unknown hights!

Big in Japan August 13-19: New Super Mario Bros. 2 | Console-Spot

Nintendo strikes software top spot again with 2D platformer; 3DS XL on top of weekly hardware sales

Nintendo seem to be dominating the top sales spots during Japan’s pass break period. According to the recent Media Create sales update, the number one game for the week of August 13 to August 19 was New Super Mario Bros. 2 for the 3DS.

Despite retreading familiar territory, Mario games still get the gold.

The game sold 152,026 units. Critics praised the title for its levels and controls, but panned it for its reliance on retreading glories of past Mario titles. For more information on the title, check out GameSpot’s review.

The other Nintendo titles securing second and third place were Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 for the DS and Dragon Quest X, respectively. The former titles sold 55,787 units, while the latter Wii RPG sold 45,470 units. There were no new titles debuting in the top 10 for the previous week.

On the hardware front, both versions of the 3DS were the top-selling consoles for the week. The 3DS XL was at 66,412 units, while the 3DS was at 45,445 units; the total combined is 111,857. The PS3 was at 16,277 units, while the Wii was at 15,640 units.

Shin Megami Tensei IV Website Says: And Then...

Atlus have overhauled their official website for Shin Megami Tensei IV with a new piece of music and a silhouette of the ponytailed character from the game.

They also posted a cryptic message that reads: “First trailer included with Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers… And then…”

And then, what? No idea! That’s all the message says. Hopefully, it means we can look forward to more updates in the near future. In the meantime, in case you missed it, you can watch a trailer for Shin Megami Tensei IV here.

Disney Interactive is unveiling a new location for Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two. PAX Prime attendees can get a first look at Fort Wastleland. Disney says that the area is “based on the historic Frontierland that opened with Disneyland Park in July 1955 and has delighted generations of visitors with forgotten attractions such as the Mine Train Through Nature’s Wonderland and Fort Wilderness on Tom Sawyer Island.”

Those who check out the company’s booth can receive a sketch from a Disney Character Sketch Artist and participate in giveaways.

August 31, 2012 – Industry luminary Warren Spector and Disney Interactive’s Junction Point are showcasing a never-before-seen area of “Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two” for Penny Arcade Expo attendees at the Disney Interactive booth North Hall #642 at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle this weekend. Attendees will explore Fort Wasteland, an area of the video game based on the historic Frontierland that opened with Disneyland® Park in July 1955 and has delighted generations of visitors with forgotten attractions such as the Mine Train Through Nature’s Wonderland and Fort Wilderness on Tom Sawyer Island.

But for the first time, Mickey and Oswald will join forces as true partners – Mickey with the magical paint brush that allows him to wield paint and thinner, and Oswald with a powerful remote control that allows him to command electricity. This new co-op play further enhances the idea that “PlayStyle Matters” – a unique approach to gameplay pioneered by Warren Spector where players tackle challenges the way they want to in order to explore a variety of possibilities and storylines, but always with consequences for their chosen actions.

Fractured Soul Side Scrolling Shooter For The 3DS - Platform Nation

We have some new screens as well as a trailer for the upcoming 3DS game Fractured Souls. Now this one will be available in North America on the eShop on Sept. 13, 2012 for $11.99 and even though I don’t have a 3DS I sure would like to give this game a run through.
