On Friday, Square Enix released brand new screenshots for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 2.5 ReMIX, due out later this year.
Following on from last year’s Kingdom Hearts 1.5 ReMIX, this new collection bundles together the previously Japanese only Final Mix editions of Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep as well as the Nintendo DS entry: Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. The Final Mix versions feature new scenes and gameplay elements that weren’t available in the original game releases.
Much like 358/2 days in the 1.5 HD collection, Re:coded will simply be a collection of cutscenes from the game and not an actual playable game, it will however feature new scenes and voice acting not originally seen that will apparently tie Re:coded to 2012′s 3DS entry, Dream Drop Distance.
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX will be available for PS3 later this year, and will lead into the highly anticipated Kingdom Hearts III.
