During their E3 announcement video, Nintendo revealed that they partnered with Best Buy to offer a playable demo of the highly anticipated Super Smash Bros. for Wii U during the week of E3. Over 100 locations of the electronic mega-retailer will be hosting the “Super Smash Bros. Smash-Fest @ Best Buy” event on Wednesday, June 11th from 4 P.M. to 9 P.M. and Saturday, June 14th from Noon to 5pm. The early access version of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will apparently be the same version that will be featured and playable on the show floor at E3 2014. In addition to the playable demo, the first 70 people to pre-order Super Smash Bros. for Wii U or 3DS at any of the locations holding the event will receive a rare collectible Super Smash Bros. gold coin (one per customer, while supplies last). On top of this, customers will get a $5 My Best Buy Rewards Zone certificate when they pre-order the game and pick it up when released. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is scheduled to be launched later this year with the 3DS variant coming later this summer.
