- Trap Team's story begins with series villain Kaos unleashing all of Skylands' most wanted villains from the Cloudcracker Prison

- Toys for Bob will be the main creative lead for the upcoming games, but developer Beemox assists
- Starter pack will sell for $74.99 and comes with the new portal (required for the traps), two traps, Trap Master and one of the new Skylanders
- More confirmed Skylanders: a flying dinosaur named Chopper, the vegetable gun-equipped Food Fight, the crystal bow and arrow-wielding SnapShot and the chunky Wallop, who fights with dual crystal hammers
