Historical Ace Attorney game Announced seeds of games

Earlier today images leaked from the upcoming Famistu issue. The leaked showed artwork and information for an upcoming historical Ace Attorney game, with the series creator Shu Takumi taking back the reigns.

The game is set during the Meiji era Japan (roughly September 1868 to July 1912), staring an ancestor of Phoenix Wright as the lead. The article in the Famistu scan describes the lead Naruhodou Ryuunosuke as someone with a keen sense of justice and who is quick to put himself in danger.

The Japanese title roughly translates to ‘Grand Turnabout Trial: The Adventures of Naruhodou Ryuunosuke’.

Since the initial leak, Capcom has released a Japanese trailer for the title on their Youtube channel. It introduces the characters and concept, however doesn’t show any gameplay.

Capcom has also published a teaser site for the game, revealing that it will be heading to the Nintendo 3DS. However at this stage both the trailer and the teaser website are in Japanese, and it is unknown if it will see a Western release.
