In addition to the excellent lineup of Game Boy Advance titles announced for the North American Wii U eShop by Nintendo earlier, Nintendo has also confirmed a Virtual Console release date for one of their biggest NES hits: Super Mario Bros. 3. The game is set to arrive on the Wii U Virtual Console, as well as the 3DS Virtual Console, next month.
Super Mario Bros. 3 will launch at an appealing price of just $5. If you’ve never experienced what is arguably the greatest Mario game, if not one of the greatest platformers ever designed, then come April 17 you can enjoy the game within the comfort of the Wii U Game Pad or the 3DS.
With the Game Boy Advance releases and some NES classics, April is certainly shaping up to be a busy month for retro Nintendo enthusiasts.
