Super Mario Bros. 3 highlights a great month of eShop DLC ...

April is looking to be a SOLID month of DLC releases for fans of Nintendo classics. From April 3rd through April 24th, GBA titles will be hitting the Wii U eShop every week. In addition to being able to play these classics on the GamePad with off-TV play, these titles will have Restore Points that save progress during gameplay, and Miiverse functionality. And on April 17th, the one and only mighty Super Mario Bros. 3 will hit both the Wii U AND 3DS eShop. Let’s take a look at the releases and get pumped, TOGETHER.

YUUUUUSSSSS

April 3rdAdvance Wars ($7.99) – command an army through the air, ground, and sea in this turn-based strategy game.

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga ($7.99) – play as the brothers Mario in their first RPG outing together as a team, and turn Princess Peach’s voice back to normal (it has been replaced with explosives, because that is a fantastic plot point).

Metroid Fusion ($7.99) – follow a reborn, half-Metroid Samus on her mission to eradicate the X parasites from a space station. Be mindful of SA-X, a parasite that is mimicking Samus and all her abilities and scares the crap out of you every time you see it.

The face of my nightmares

April 10thKirby & The Amazing Mirror ($6.99) – suck and blow with Kirby and an army of colorful clones as they face off against Dark Meta Knight!

WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! ($6.99) – the first in the WarioWare series, play through more than 200 microgames, including one where you pick a nose.

April 17thSuper Mario Bros. 3 (also on Nintendo 3DS, $4.99) – you know it, I know it. One of the greatest platformers ever made. Featured in the classic giant Nintendo commercial/movie, The Wizard. Has hidden flutes and warp zones and makes you feel all fuzzy inside.

F-Zero: Maximum Velocity ($6.99) – super fast races with CAPTAIN FALCON.

Golden Sun ($7.99) – defeat omnipotent creatures known as Djinn, harness their power, save the world.

April 24thYoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3 ($7.99) – one of my favorite games. Flutter, digest, make, and throw eggs, and stop Baby Mario from crying and making your ears bleed.

Info on these releases and more can be found here. I am definitely getting Golden Sun, Superstar Saga, and Mario 3, since I have the rest on the 3DS (AMBASSADOR FOR LIFE). Anything you guys picking up?
