GoNintendo 'End of Day' thought - My Mom wants to show you the ...

Man, Thursday is here already? What happened to this week?! I'm not sure, but I'll take anything that gets us closer to Friday! See you in a few, short hours.

I teased this on Twitter a couple weeks back, but now I'm following through on my job of being a good son!

If you've been reading GoNintendo for a long time now, you might know that my Mom is a big video game fan. She's been playing games for as long as I have, if not more. While she can't really handle the 3D games that you traditionally find on consoles nowadays, she still plays the hell out of portable titles. Her 3DS never leaves her side, and if you're wondering, her current addiction is Tappingo (with the usual side of Animal Crossing).

She also happens to love the Legend of Zelda series. She's played a ton of them, but believe it or not, A Link Between Worlds was the first Zelda game she beat all on her own. No help from me with anything, including bosses. I don't think I've ever been so proud of my Mom when it comes to gaming achievements!

She's decided to marry her love of Zelda with her other passion in life, knitting. She recently opened an Etsy store with all sorts of knitted stuff, but this is her first game-related item. I feel it's my duty to share her work at least once on GoNintendo. I mean, I do kind of owe my life to her! The least I could do is share her shop and a look at her Link hat. If you dig what you see, hit up the link below and grab one for yourself!

Before you ask...no, this isn't some sort of money-making scheme. I'm not making a dime off of any of this. I just wanted to share my Mom's work because I'm proud of it and I thought it was something you guys might like! Truthfully, I think it's pretty damn cool to have a Mom that likes the Legend of Zelda enough to knit something for it! Hopefully you think her work is worth a look.

Grab your own hat here...if you want!
