Nintendo franchises that yearn to be turned into yarn | GamesRadar

Why it'd be adorable: In this follow-up to the 3DS’ Kid Icarus: Uprising, Pit doesn’t become one with the yarn in this concept, but instead faces a maze of string-based obstacles and enemies. The adorable factor comes from Pit’s goddess, Palutena, and her constant banter on the 3DS’ bottom screen is packed with sewing-based puns. Even a goddess loves corny jokes, and though puns are the lowest form of humor, sometimes puns are fun.

Fabricated preview quote: When Rhapso, the goddess of seamstresses, bets Palutena that Pit cannot conquer her unique labyrinth made of thread, yarn, and fluff-stuffed creatures, the protector of Angel Land is thrown into conflict once again in Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Miters. Following on on Uprising but presented in the old 8-bit style, Pit is once again subject to the whims of his goddess and the other mythological beings that inhabit his world. Though this time, familiar foes like the Eggplant Wizard have been replaced with variations on a sewing theme, such as the Embroidery Wizard.
