Once upon a time, legend has it that on Nintendo’s website, New Super Mario Bros. U was said to run at 1080p. Legend also says that Nintendo replaced 1080p with ‘high definition’. It is also said that Nintendo updated their site saying that News Super Mario Bros. U will not run at 1080p. So what’d you guys think of my story? Basically. title says everything.
The previously stated information about video output for this game was inaccurate. The Wii U console supports video output of up to 1080p.
While all Wii U software titles display high definition graphics, resolution for specific titles may vary
So this basically proves that there will be Wii U consoles that won’t have 1080p. I mean sure it was a bit obvious, but you’d think that was for some 3rd party games.
