If you’re lucky enough to be in New York during the launch of the Nintendo Wii U you need to make plans to pick up your Wii U at Nintendo World. Why, you ask? Well first, it’s Nintendo World! Second, Nintendo is holding a Midnight launch event where those waiting to get there hands on the new console will be some of the first in the world to have that honour. In addition, Nintendo will be giving out free Nintendo swag, selling New York themed shirts with featuring Mario (All proceeds from sales of the shirts will be donated to the American Red Cross in support of relief efforts from the effects of Hurricane Sandy) and Reggie Fils Aime himself will present the first customer in line with the first Wii U sold.
