As the Fall release season continues onwards, Resident Evil 6 dominates the charts. After claiming triumph at the top of the Japanese charts, the latest zombie-shooter from Capcom jumped to the top of the U.S. charts its debut week, stealing away both the crown for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms. NBA 2K13 debuted the same week as well, but fell behind to the #3 and #4 spots.
Borderlands 2 boasted the top spot for the longest time, but the adventure across Pandora slid to #5, followed by the latest expansion to World of Warcraft falling to the #6 spot. Things aren’t looking too good for FIFA ’13 as it slipped from the #1 and #2 spots to #7 and #8. Madden NFL ’13 and New Super Mario Bros. 2 rounded out the Top 10.
Sackboy’s adventure on the PS Vita debuted at the #11 spot, followed by Guild Wars 2 slipping to the #17 spot. Rounding out the Top 20 were Mario Kart 7 and Battlefield 3.
