Super Contra has been age-rated for the Nintendo 3DS eShop in Australia. The NES version of the game – entitled ‘Super C’ has never been released outside of Japan, so this could be your first chance to play it in its pure form Contra fans.
Nintendo Life reports that while the arcade version of Super Contra has been released in the West, the Nintendo build has not.
The Australian Board of Classification has rated the game for 3DS, and you can check out the listing here.
If this does signify an Australian release, it might not be long until other Western territories get their mitts on it. To be fair, it’s bloody hard and it’s probably going to make us weep, but we still want to play it.
