Level 5 announced a sixth Professor Layton game for the Nintendo 3DS during a Nintendo Direct broadcast from Japan Wednesday morning. The latest version is being billed as the Professors last adventure.

The Japanese title of the new game roughly translates to Professor Layton and the Legacy of the Super Civilization and will be released in 2013. Level 5 CEO Akihiro Hino described the game as Laytons final adventure according to a report from Andriasang. This new and final adventure gets started when the Professor receives a letter saying that a living mummy has been discovered.
