Nintendo 3DS XL – is bigger better? - GoGifting

Calling all Nintendo fans! The Nintendo 3DS XL has arrived. First up, it’s bigger. Its screen is about 90 percent larger than the 3DS’, with the top 3D display jumping from 3.53 inches to 4.88 inches. The 3DS XL also comes with a longer battery life.

The key feature of the Nintendo 3DS XL is its increased display. According to The Verge’s review of the Nintendo 3DS XL whereas the 3DS is like ‘peeping through a keyhole,’ the XL is like ‘stepping through a door.’

The Verge goes as far as to say that once you’ve tried the XL, it’ll be very hard to go back to the old version because the graphics just won’t hold up. Also because the screen on the XL is less reflective, so it’s easier to use outside.

But the most impressive quality of the XL’s graphics is that they are 3D. This not only makes for a much more ‘real’ experience when playing games on the Nintendo, it means that the player gets totally immersed in playing because of the sense that the visuals engulf you.

The control pad on the XL is much the same as the DS which means that players don’t have to spend getting used to a new feel. You can just pick it up, start playing and concentrate on the stunning graphics.

All in all, the Nintendo 3DS XL is much the same beast as the older DS in terms of its functionality. But size-wise and visually, it’s a whole other animal. Don’t wait any longer to be amazed. check out the Nintendo 3DS XL on GoGifting.com today!
