A lot of rumors have been going around within Minecraft Xbox 360 community that the release date of 1.8.2 update is on 28th September, but it isn’t the case according to 4J Studios.
Previously on the Minecraft Wiki, the release date for 1.8.2 update has been set to September 28 (now TBA) and we figure that it go viral with word of mouth that they think it is an official announcement.
Well, 4J studios has clarified on this matter with their tweets:
“Anyone can edit the date on the wiki. We’ve never announced a release date. We’ll tell you when it goes to MS Cert Test.”
“There’s nothing coming out on the 28th. Best to assume all rumours are false.”
4J Studios will be unleashing a completely new update for the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft with 1.8.2 as they are bringing a couple of slick features and fixes to the Xbox 360 version of the game. The PC side of Mineraft never saw this particular update, though, as that version went from 1.8.1 directly to 1.9.
For Xbox 360 owners, this is being regarded as their version of the Adventure Update that gave so much to the PC version of Minecraft about a year ago.
1.8.2 update will get you, Xbox 360 gamers, things like the hunger bar, fence gates, NPC villages, abandoned mineshafts, superflat mode, creative mode, cobwebs and, as the video above clearly indicates, brand new food types.
