I was going to write something else for my blog, but this has been bothering me for a while, now…
So my 3DS broke AND I lost Theatrhythm. *sob*
I guess that it was maybe not so random, because for a while there, I had been growing pretty slobbish in maintaining my side of the dorm room. But the weird part is that I left my 3DS on the shared bedside table with Theatrhythm in it, and the next morning, Theatrhythm was gone. From within my 3DS. Which hadn’t moved. And also my 3DS didn’t work. orz
What happened isn’t actually that bad for me… I mean, I’ve been wanting to buy a 3DS XL for a while now, and I guess this validates that rather wasteful purchase. Plus, the majority of new games that I’ve bought lately are for the 3DS, and the fact that my 3DS is broken gives me time to focus on the important things beat ALL my DS games.
But what still remains is that:
- My 3DS is broken. (I need to mail it in to Nintendo someday or the other so I can get free repairs whoo…)
- Did I mention that my 3DS is broken?
- I have a modest library of game downloads on my 3DS, and if I never get to reclaim them, I’ll have wasted about 35 dollars… plus the free Nintendo Club reward I got for my Gold status this year… (which was also a game dl)
- If I get a 3DS XL, I’ll need to buy a new Circle Pad Pro so that I may have a Circle Pad Pro that works with my 3DS XL. Bleh.
- I can’t play my 3DS games. Aaaand there’s also the thing where like all the games I want this year are like, 3DS games. /valleygirl
- I lost Theatrhythm. “But Picaris,” you say. “It’s just a fucking game.” True, but…
- I lost something that cost 40 dollars. And…
- I sunk somewheres between 60-100 hours in that game and I nearly got all the… yeah.
So what’s gone down is just another example of ye good ol’ firstworldproblems, but it… it’s still kind of depressing. Way to start my first school year, in college, me.
