It looks like we haven’t got to wait too much longer now until we finally find out the launch details of the Wii U, as Nintendo has revealed that they’re holding an event in New York next month that will focus solely on their upcoming new hardware.
More information will be revealed at the event in regards to the system itself and an official price, date and launch line-up is also expected to be announced. Don’t get your hopes up too high just yet for U.K deets however – Nintendo held three press conferences for launch details of the 3DS: one for Japan, one for the U.S and one for Europe, so in all likelihood there will be another event coming sometime after the U.S one in which Ninty will deal with information regarding the Wii U’s European launch.
Of course there is always the chance that this time around Nintendo will discuss worldwide launch details at the U.S event, we’ll just have to wait and see. Thursday, September the 13th is the day and date that the event is happening so make sure you check back with us then and we’ll be sure to inform you of everything that is said and shown at the conference as soon as it emerges.
