A Wii U press event has been announced.
The event will take place on September 13 in New York City. Apparently the press can look forward to hands-on demos, along with more information being revealed. According to Nintendo World, this press event seems to be taking after the pre-release press events of both the 3DS and the Wii in terms of a release two months later.
What type of information that will be revealed during the event remains to be seen. However, what we’re hoping for is a release date, pricing. Really, it’s pretty much dead certain that a release date will be announced.
Looking back in the past years, three major releases have all been in November: GameCube (November 18th), Nintendo DS (November 21st), Wii (November 19th).
