1.- There is a previous report from an insider who is positive that the Wii U will be less than £249. According to a new report, from a credible source, the Wii U is "99% likely" to go on sale in the UK for less than £250, which is around $380. Nintendo will announce the pricing for Wii U, and release date, during the Autumn.
More After the Break... According to Official Nintendo Magazine editor Chandra Nair, there are loads of unannounced third-party content for Wii U. Nair says that his favorite part from last month's E3 was finding out about all the third-party Wii U games that weren't revealed to the public. Nair thinks that we will hear plenty of third-party announcements for Wii U at Gamescom or TGS.
During an interview with The Independent, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata explained the factors that led to Nintendo's first-ever operating loss, which was recorded earlier this year. The first reason, Iwata explains, is that Nintendo is preparing to launch a brand-new console – the Wii U. According to Iwata, it is normal to experience losses during a transition period.The second factor is the Nintendo 3DS's initial price-point and its lack of momentum, which picked up toward the end of 2011 when more games were being released. The final factor, which contributed to Nintendo's loss, is that the global economy is unstable and the exchange rate is disadvantageous for Nintendo with the Yen being very strong. In Dragon Quest X, a player has the option to invite real life players or CPU characters to join his or her party. Real life players will have their names written in blue, where CPU characters' names will be written in either pink or white. A pink name means that a character must be approached because he or she is important to the game's story. Armor shops, inns and churches return in Dragon Quest X. Players can rest at an inn to regain their health; churches need to be visited in order to cure poison, revive allies, or remove curses from party members. Unlike Dragon Quest IX, Dragon Quest X saves your progress automatically. Dragon Quest X for Wii will be released in Japan on August 2nd. The Last Story has been given a North American release date - August 14th. If you pre-order The Last Story from Amazon.com, EB Games Canada or GameStop, you'll receive a bonus soundtrack CD, – pictured above – which features seven tracks from the game's score. Xseed revealed that all launch copies of The Last Story will be limited edition, and will retail for a suggested price of $49.99 MSRP. Pokemon Black & White 2 are, once again, the best-selling video games with 181,756 units sold. Although its sales have dropped last week, the Nintendo 3DS remains atop the hardware charts. Out of the top 10 best-selling software of the week, seven titles are exclusive to Nintendo platforms. Here are the Japanese software and hardware charts.
