Gamealism.com » Club Nintendo Reveals Elite Rewards

It’s that time of year again and Club Nintendo has revealed the Elite Rewards for those that have collected enough coins throughout the year to reach either Platinum and/or Gold status. If all of this is new to you, here’s a brief rundown of how it all works: Each time you buy a 1st party Nintendo game, there will be an insert inside of it that has a PIN code. Players can then take the PIN code and enter it into the Club Nintendo site and earn coins for each entered after they fill out a survey. Players will then be able to earn additional coins for follow up surveys and occasional random surveys. The cut-off date to earn coins each year is always the first of July and those who have earned 300 coins will be considered “Gold Member” and those with 600 or more coins are “Platinum Members.” Now that we have that cleared up, let’s get on to the just-announced rewards…

For the Platinum members, your rewards this year are a deck of playing cards or a set of pretty awesome posters featuring Link, Pit from Kid Icarus, and Luigi’s Haunted Mansion. For the Gold members your choices are a little more varied, although there is only one physical reward, and that is a 2013 calendar.

Keep in mind that all physical rewards are shipped by December 31, 2012–meaning usually in December sometime. The other rewards are games that you can download to either your Wii or 3DS. If one of the games are chosen as your reward, you will immediately be given a code to download it through the system it is for.
